Sands is teaching an acting classs, Elements of the Actor's Craft for the The Center for the Arts Sundays January 6 - February 10th, 2008.

Sands is directing The Philadelphia Story for The Center for the Arts opening April 18th, 2008.

She is also directing On Golden Pond for Foothill Theatre Company opening September 26th, 2008.
